Belinda Portea (Bel) is a professional nutritionist who wants to make food easy. Real food shouldn’t be hard and shouldn’t be a drag - Belinda puts the fun back into preparing, presenting and EATING food that’s good for us.   And it doesn’t matter who you are or what your kitchen skills are, there are always solutions and Belinda is a bubbling pot of enthusiasm ready to guide you to the next yummy experience.

Born in Country Victoria, Australia, Bel now lives on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia with her two young children and husband Anthony (fitness trainer). A lifelong interest in food as medicine, led Bel to experience vegetarianism, veganism, and pescatarianism. After qualifying as a nutritional medicine practitioner with additional qualification as a vegan chef, Belinda decided that for her and her family, the household diet should have a balance of high level of plant foods with organic sustainably sourced animal products. 

When she takes her “food hat” off, you will find Belinda at the gym and at her children’s sporting events. Having children has allowed Belinda to experience the frustrations of picky eaters and enable her to find solutions for little ones who can make life difficult at meal time. She also has a cat called Archie who shares in the family fun.
