 And it is true that how food choices determine how we live, our approach to life , how we look, how much energy we have, and how much we enjoy life says Christine Barnes of The Body Guard.

The Body Guard approaches food as medicine - curative, sustaining, pleasurable, and life affirming.

 

Foods have different effects on each of our bodies and to optimize how our bodies function we need to choose appropriately.   That doesn't mean being on a constant diet or eschewing the foods we really like to eat, but by becoming more aware of the type of nutrition our bodies need and where that nutrition can be found,  we can decide for ourselves the right choices for our own bodies.

 

                                       

 

The Body Guard offers regular in house Food For Life cooking classes , and on this website we include an ever growing compendium of easy to make healthy recipes and assessments of foods and lifestyle products  that might be found in the supermarkets and organic stores. We also review restaurants from a nutritional point of view as experienced by founder of The Body Guard, Christine Barnes.
